Electrical Services

Electricity is provided to 2,500 customers. These customers are located in the City of Clay Center, rural area near Green, rural area in the Broughton area and the rural area near Idana, including the town of Idana. The power plant is capable of providing its customers with electricity through engine generation if grid power is not available.

Line Crew: Overhead Power Distribution

The line crew provides maintenance of many miles of line. In 2007 an ice storm struck the area and 75% of power lines were rebuilt.

Water Distribution

The Water Department provides maintenance to many miles of water line. They also install new services as well.
